Take a look, you won’t see the sky
Don’t even try, your wings are clipped
You’ve tripped, and no one will coax
It’s all a hoax and you’ve been duped
So what? Won’t you fight or try again?
Just plain walkout won’t look heroic
It’s a trick and the clever trickster wins
He spins a web and you were caught
Logic is the new god and can be spun
Out of turn? Well, not really if you think
Just a wink can make your day, they know
And show you what you want to see.

hmm... very post-colonial ... strongly reminiscent of the Ananse myth of Ghanaian origin. innovative imagery... the felt experience is reflected strongly ;) good job... as always, waiting for more :)
A seemingly effortless figment of thought...but does the trick it intends to.
Good work!
so powerful n yet so subtly put!
